1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using ScanForCards ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

ScanForCards is a tool that monitors public Instagram stories from trading card sellers, extracts card data using AI, and sends alerts when cards matching your criteria appear. The Service requires the ScanForCards Chrome extension to be installed and running in your browser.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for:

Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
All activity that occurs under your account
Providing accurate registration information

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service to violate any applicable laws or regulations
Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the Service's infrastructure
Share your account credentials with others
Use the Service in a way that could harm other users or third parties

The extension operates within your own browser session using your own Instagram account. You are responsible for your own use of Instagram and compliance with Instagram's Terms of Service.

5. Subscriptions and Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact us at support@scanforcards.com within 7 days of a charge if you believe it was in error.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that alerts will catch every matching card. Card data is extracted using AI and may contain inaccuracies.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ScanForCards shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including missed card deals or inaccurate price data.

8. Modifications to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes when possible.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at our discretion, with or without notice, for violations of these Terms. You may cancel your account at any time from the settings page.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Duval County, Florida.
